What makes AL AMIR fragrances unique?
Every AL AMIR creation is crafted with purpose. Each fragrance carries: A story inspired by emotion, legacy, or a moment in time A setting that evokes a place, memory, or feeling A touch of rich Arabian heritage rooted in centuries of perfumery Yet all our fragrances are designed to be universally appreciated, transcending culture and welcoming wearers from every background.
What is the difference between perfume and attar?
Perfume: Alcohol-based, stronger projection, broader scent diffusion. Attar: Alcohol-free concentrated oil rooted in traditional Arabian craftsmanship; richer, deeper, and longer-lasting on the skin. Both express stories and settings deeply tied to heritage.
Are your attars alcohol-free?
Yes. All attars by AL AMIR are 100% alcohol-free, crafted using pure fragrance and essential oils.
Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
Our fragrances are crafted with high-quality, IFRA-certified ingredients. Still, we recommend a patch test: Apply a small amount to the wrist Allow it to settle If any irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor
Where are your fragrances sourced from?
We source premium oils, accords, and ingredients from globally recognized fragrance hubs: France, Turkey, Dubai, Egypt, Kuwait, Oman This allows us to combine Arabian heritage with international mastery.
Will the fragrance damage clothing?
Perfumes: Safe for most fabrics; avoid delicate materials like silk or satin. Attars: Should not be applied to clothing due to their oil concentration.
What is the concentration of your perfumes and attars?
Perfumes: High-concentration Eau de Parfum or Parfum strength Attars: Pure concentrated oils with zero alcohol, offering deeper richness and longevity
How long do your fragrances last?
Perfumes: 6–12 hours depending on environment Attars: 10–12+ hours due to their concentrated oil composition
Are AL AMIR fragrances unisex?
Yes. Our fragrances are designed with universal appeal, crafted for all cultures and identities while carrying the soul of Arabian perfumery.
Do perfumes or attars expire?
With proper storage, they last 3–5 years or more. Attars often age beautifully and may last even longer.
Do your fragrances smell the same on everyone?
Not exactly. Skin chemistry, climate, and body temperature influence how notes evolve — creating a uniquely personal scent experience.
Can I layer perfumes and attars?
Yes — layering enhances the story of the fragrance. Attars create a deep base, perfumes add projection and brightness.
Are your products halal-friendly?
Attars are 100% alcohol-free. Perfumes contain cosmetic-grade alcohol commonly used in modern perfumery.
Do you test on animals?
No. AL AMIR does not conduct any animal testing.
Which fragrance should I wear for different seasons or moments?
Hot weather / beaches: fresh, citrus, aquatic, light musks Cold weather / winter nights: oud, amber, spices Rainy days: cozy woods, musk, amber Bedtime: soft musk, light amber, rose Special events: ouds, mukhallats, deep musks with Arabian warmth
